I added a lining so the woolly yarn wouldn’t itch. I first made it so it would fit my brother’s head perfectly, but when that was done, it still turned out to be too small. So in the end I cut most of it away, only leaving a strip which covers the ears. My brother says the hat is perfect, fits nicely and stays put. He’s worn it while down-hill-skiing, so I guess it works!

This was one of the first projects I ever knitted for another person, and it was nice it was received so well. It’s also a great hat pattern, and one I still intend to use again.
